About The Position: An Operations Analyst is a vital part of a high functioning team at Fusion Capital Management. As a member of the Fusion Operations Team, the Operations Analyst is responsible for handling operational workflow, following through on all support service functions and providing outstanding customer service for our financial professionals. The position is a multi-faceted role, which requires a strong working knowledge of investment management processes across multiple custodians, technology vendors and products.

About The Firm: Fusion Capital Management is an SEC Registered Investment Advisor firm located in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. Fusion is a rapidly growing firm which currently advises over $1 billion of assets. Fusion offers extensive back office support for financial professionals in order to provide unsurpassed customer service to our mutual clients. We provide customized wealth management solutions tailored to our mutual client’s long term goals, needs, and objectives. Our approach takes a special focus on risk, with our proprietary risk management system that will monitor the risk being taken within the portfolios we manage on an ongoing basis.

Position requires 0% regular travel, but employee may be asked to travel on rare occasions for training opportunities. This position will report to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications include:

  • General computer skills required.

  • College degree preferred.

  • Customer service experience preferred.

  • Must be detailed oriented.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite required (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).

  • Ability to quickly learn new technology systems, such as, custodian platform websites, portfolio and data aggregation software, paperless scanning technology, performance reporting and more.

  • Familiarity with technology platforms such as Redtail, Salesforce, Orion Advisor Services and Morningstar Office is preferred.

  • Familiarity with TD Ameritrade Institutional, Charles Schwab Institutional, and Fidelity Institutional custodian platforms is preferred.

  • Excellent organization and communication skills.

  • Series 65 license is preferred or the ability to obtain the license.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, including operating within the technology platform and speaking with advisors over the phone.

  • Must be able to work as a team, but also independently to meet deadlines and provide outstanding customer support.

  • Previous investment industry experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation: This position is full-time with the expectation of a 40 hour work week. Advancement opportunities will be available. Expected salary will range from $30k to $40k, based on experience, plus benefits.
