What Is Your Operational Edge?

When looking at an investment strategy, we look at many things: Alpha and Beta, Sharpe Ratio, Standard Deviation.  All of these are used to determine one main thing... What sort of "edge" does the strategy have?  What makes it uniquely able to outperform others?

We take that same approach when it comes to an advisor's operations.  When our advisors measure their business and, more importantly, operational efficiencies, we want to make sure that they have an "edge". Think of Operational Edge as the excess return of time to the financial professional’s schedule, offering a unique advantage. This will allow the financial professional to focus more on revenue generating activities which ultimately create more revenue, higher retention and better overall relationships.
